No. When receiving details are available, you can share the exact instructions directly with an eligible payer.
Invoices and payment links are additional ways to organise a formal payment request or share payment instructions where those features are enabled.
When an invoice helps
An invoice can describe the work, amount, currency and payment terms agreed with your client. Make sure its details match your legitimate commercial arrangement and the receiving currency you intend to use.
An invoice does not establish that a payment has arrived. Confirm the payment status in your workspace before treating it as received or available.
What a payment link means
A link can present instructions for a supported payment flow. It does not automatically mean that card payments, SWIFT or every other payment method are supported.
Use only a link created by the enabled feature in your own workspace. Check the amount, currency and payer instructions before sharing it.
If the feature is unavailable
You can still share active receiving instructions where permitted. Do not create your own account details or send a payer to an inactive example link.
If you need a correction to an invoice or request, check the actions available for its current status. Ask support if a payment has already been sent and the instructions were wrong.
