In this guide

Account details in your name are available only where supported and approved. They identify the approved person or business for a particular receiving arrangement; they do not mean Ostro has opened a traditional bank account for you.

Use the name shown in the instructions

The beneficiary name displayed with the issued receiving details is the name the payer should use. Do not change it to a trading name, nickname or another legal entity because that seems more familiar to your client.

If the displayed name appears incorrect, contact support before arranging a payment. Your Ostro profile name and the name attached to partner-issued details may require separate updates.

Standard USD details and additional requests

The standard USD virtual-account arrangement is issued in the customer’s name where eligible and approved. A separate unnamed option should not be assumed to exist.

If you need another receiving currency or a different named arrangement, use the request option when available in your workspace. Explain the business or payment need so the request can be reviewed.

Approval and issuance are separate

Administrator approval allows the request to proceed for the applicable checks. The details are usable only after the financial partner issues and activates them.

A request is not a guarantee of approval, issuance or access to all rails. Continue using only the current instructions displayed for the available account.
