Some banks or financial services verify ACH details by sending small deposits and asking you to confirm the amounts or a code from the transaction description.
Check whether the verification method is supported
Not every external service can link to every receiving arrangement. Use the account details and methods available in your workspace, and check with support if the service requires a feature you cannot find.
Microdeposit support does not imply a direct integration between Ostro and the external service.
Finding the information
Review the available payment activity and descriptions. A three-letter code requested by a service such as Plaid may appear in the microdeposit descriptor.
If the amounts or code are not visible, contact Ostro with the external service name, the date the verification was initiated and the receiving currency. Support can investigate what information is available.
Do not guess or share sign-in codes
Repeated guesses can cause the external service to lock its verification attempt. Follow that service’s retry instructions while support checks the deposit.
A microdeposit verification code is different from your Ostro login or authenticator code. Never send support your password, one-time sign-in code or authenticator setup secret.
