When receiving details are active in your workspace, you can share them directly with an eligible client, employer, marketplace, customer or business partner. You do not need an invoice just to share payment instructions.
Before you share
- Open the receiving-details section of your workspace.
- Select the available currency and review the supported payment rail.
- Copy the complete instructions, including the beneficiary name, account details and any required reference.
- Ask the payer to use those details exactly and select the specified currency and rail.
Not every route uses the same fields. An IBAN, routing number, sort code or local account identifier must be used with the payment method specified for that account.
Include every required reference
A memo or reference may be needed to identify your payment. Missing or changed information can delay matching or cause a return. Do not substitute a different beneficiary name or reuse details from another currency.
Share instructions only with a legitimate payer. Account details are not a password, but they still deserve careful handling.
After the payer sends the payment
Follow the payment status in your workspace. Ask the payer to keep their payment confirmation in case it is needed for an investigation.
If the payer requires a method that is not shown, such as SWIFT, check with support before they send. Do not infer support from the presence of an account number or IBAN.
