Updating your account or business details

How to request a correction without bypassing verification.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Keep legal and account information accurate. Profile changes may need support and a new review; changing profile details is separate from changing a login email.

Contact support if your legal name, operating address, account type or business activity needs to be corrected. Changes can affect verification and payment eligibility.

Tell us what changed

Describe the field that is incorrect and the reason for the change. Do not send full identity documents or sensitive records in the first email; support will arrange an appropriate submission process if evidence is required.

Profile corrections may be handled by an authorised administrator. A change can require the account to be reviewed again before payment access continues.

Partner-issued information may need separate updates

Changing your Ostro profile does not automatically update a financial partner’s records or the name on issued receiving details.

Continue using the exact current instructions shown for an active receiving arrangement. If those instructions appear incorrect or outdated, pause new payment requests and contact support.

Changing a login email

A login-email change is separate from an ordinary profile correction and requires a verified process. Do not assume that editing a profile field transfers ownership of the login.

If you no longer control the existing email, explain this when contacting support. Identity and authority checks are required before sensitive account changes can be made.
