In this guide

Business verification checks the legal entity and the people who own, control or act for it. Apply only if you are authorised to represent the business.

Information that may be required

Requirements depend on your jurisdiction, entity type and proposed activity. They may include:

  • The registered legal name and registration information.
  • Registered and principal operating addresses.
  • A description of the business and the reason for using Ostro.
  • Formation or ownership records.
  • Information about beneficial owners, controlling persons and authorised representatives.
  • Identity verification for relevant individuals.

The verification flow determines the actual documents and people required. This list is a preparation guide, not a universal checklist.

Use the correct operating location

A business’s primary operating address can affect eligibility even when its incorporation address or bank is elsewhere. Do not use an alternative address to bypass country or regional restrictions.

Keep names and details consistent with your supporting records. If the company name, ownership or operating address has changed, tell support before using outdated information.

Review and payment access

A business review may require follow-up questions. Submit information through the secure channel requested and track the status provided to you.

Business verification does not automatically enable every currency, rail or payout destination. Account approval and individual route requirements still apply.
