Minimums and transaction limits
Why limits differ by account, currency, rail and destination.

There is no single minimum or maximum that applies to every Ostro payment. Limits depend on the account, jurisdiction, payment direction, currency, rail, financial partner and compliance review.
Check the actual route
Use the limits shown for your selected option in the workspace, or confirm them with support before arranging a payment.
A payment network’s published maximum is not necessarily your account limit. For example, a rail may accept a particular amount while your recipient bank or approved account has a lower limit.
Receiving and payout limits can differ
An amount accepted for an incoming payment may not be available for one payout on a different rail. Minimums, daily limits and destination-specific requirements can also differ.
Do not split a payment into smaller transfers to avoid a restriction, review or reporting requirement.
Planning a larger payment
Contact Ostro in advance with the approximate amount, currency, expected date and payment purpose. Support can clarify the available route and whether additional information may be needed.
A discussion or quote does not reserve capacity, guarantee approval or override required compliance checks. Wait for confirmed instructions before the payer sends the transfer.
